I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to help you get the most from our sessions. In addition to my training, I have over seven years experience of working with clients in the NHS, the voluntary sector and private practice
Starting therapy can be daunting, especially if you are coming for the first time. You may not even know where to begin. It's my job to make it easy for you to open up, by asking questions about your life and what you want to get out of therapy. The pace of the work will always be guided by you, so it is manageable.
My practice is between Queens Park and Kensal Rise, where I work face-to-face in a large airy room and online (Zoom) with clients. I am happy to flex between the two ways of meeting, according to your needs. Whether online or in person, it is always a private and confidential space.
Sessions last 50 minutes and take place at the same time each week. I offer short-term therapy, that might last just a few weeks, as well as open ended therapy, which would allow us to work at a deeper level.
Anxious, low or struggling with a relationship? No matter what might be troubling you, I create a warm welcoming space where no subject is off-limits. Together we can explore your experiences to help you develop a better understanding of yourself. I will be alongside you every step of the way, as you discover resources to overcome your difficulties. Therapy can be a life changing experience.
I have a five-year Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling from The Minster Centre. In addition I have a Certificate in Couple/Relationship Therapy and a Certificate in Bereavement Care.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
