Hello! I know that imagining a therapy journey can be daunting as life events can leave a lasting legacy that can make it difficult for us to know where to begin. When you make the first step you can soon realise that therapy is a shared venture whereby you can explore your difficulties in a calm and compassionate space. As part of a relational Gestalt approach, We can work together to raise your awareness: this can support you to relate to yourself with more self-compassion, rediscover lost resources and enjoy a deeper connection with others. The experiences that brought you into therapy can be newly understood and approached with your innate creativity as your range of choices expand! This may also involve using the therapeutic space to rehearse things that you might want to try out in your wider life situation. I believe that an honest and open therapeutic relationship with boundaries enables this healing or growth to happen!
I am a Gestalt Psychotherapist who works with individual adults: I hold an MSc in Gestalt Psychotherapy from the Metanoia Institute and I am currently undergoing further training in Somatic Trauma Therapy. I have 7 years of clinical experience in a variety of contexts and during that time I have worked with with people experiencing difficulties such as trauma, bereavement, depression, anxiety, stress, family issues and emotional disturbances.
