My Approach

Life can be challenging sometimes and you may feel overwhelmed by difficult feelings or behaviours. Sometimes you may simply want to understand yourself better, realise your potential or improve your relationships.

I am a professionally qualified and registered Psychodynamic Psychotherapist.

Psychotherapy aims to help you overcome obstacles to make sense of your internal world and feel understood and supported. It could help you to achieve lasting and fulfilling change in relationships with others but also your most important relationship, the one you have with yourself.

About Me

London is rich in diversity and one of the most ethnically diverse cities in the world. I have extensive experience in private practice working with family/partner dynamics, difference, belonging, identity, cultural issues and inter-generational trauma and understanding how these issues can affect people in the course of their everyday life.

I am keen to learn how we can work together to think about what may feel confusing and painful in a calm, confidential and non-judgemental environment, where self-care is front and centre.

In addition, over the last 16 years, I have also worked with vulnerable and marginalised adolescents and adults who have been subject to the criminal justice system, both within the community and prisons as well as psychiatric secure facilities. I have supported individuals, predominantly men, suffering from acute, chronic, and complex trauma, addiction, personality disorders, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). I am currently continuing forensic psychotherapy work at the Portman Clinic (Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust) alongside private practice in Victoria, London. I understand the importance of providing a safe and confidential space to allow clients to explore what may feel uncomfortable.
